Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of GME Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office at UCSF Fresno, ensuring the smooth delivery of educational programs and services to residents, fellows, and non-MD trainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Manage the appointment process for residents, fellows, and non-MD trainees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and UCSF policies.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to improve program quality and reduce costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including ACGME, Joint Commission, and California State licensure laws.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the GME Office and various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and external partners.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff and faculty on GME policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in a healthcare or education setting.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of GME policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and educational software and technologies.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and lead a team.
