Position Overview

The role of the Graduate Medical Education Administrative Specialist is integral to the support of Graduate Medical Education (GME) initiatives. This position is part of a temporary employment program designed to provide essential administrative and operational assistance to GME staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing various requests for information related to graduate medical education.
  • Support the administrative functions of GME committees and meetings.
  • Generate and modify reports and data utilized by training programs and clinical affiliates.
  • Review and organize administrative files to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support GME operations.

Salary Information:
The final compensation package will be determined based on UC policy and the experience of the selected candidate.

Department Overview:
The Temporary Employment Program (TEP) at UCSF is dedicated to recruiting and hiring temporary staff for immediate clerical and technical support across various departments. This program allows departments to engage temporary employees for special projects, cover for regular staff on leave, or fill vacancies during recruitment processes.
