Job Summary

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of professional health education programs and policies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage program administration and operations, including teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, and database management.
  • Participate in strategizing, planning, and implementation of program improvements, including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in resident, fellow, and non-MD trainee credentialing and appointments, California medical licensing, and UCSF Fresno affiliated clinical systems' access.
  • Manage appointments, files, access to, and functionality in clinical systems, databases, and records of all UCSF Fresno postgraduate trainees.
  • Design and implement policies and procedures relevant to trainee appointments, which allow trainees to provide patient care and participate in graduate medical education training programs.
  • Serve as the principal liaison between the GME Office and all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external to UCSF Fresno and the UCSF School of Medicine.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • 5+ years directly related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements, health professions education program curriculum, and requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to lead a team and prioritize tasks.
