Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Trainee Affairs Manager in our Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office. This position will play a critical role in managing the administrative aspects of our GME programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional support to our trainees and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of GME programs
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements, including ACGME, Joint Commission, and California State licensure laws
  • Manage the appointment process for trainees, including credentialing, licensing, and access to clinical systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of GME programs with other departments and organizations
  • Develop and maintain complex databases and records to track trainee progress and compliance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of directly related experience in GME administration or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of health professions education theory and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
