Your Contribution: This role is essential in supporting the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations for the United States Central Command. The position involves the formulation and endorsement of collection requirements across the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Collection Managers play a pivotal role in the ISR cycle by ensuring that component requirements are prioritized and addressed, thereby minimizing intelligence gaps and influencing resource allocation decisions. We seek candidates who can integrate established practices with cutting-edge technological innovations. Success in this position requires the ability to translate intelligence needs into well-defined collection requirements in collaboration with various components.

Key Responsibilities: The individual will interact with analysts to ascertain intelligence needs, devise potential collection strategies, and transform these needs into actionable collection requirements that meet USCENTCOM's intelligence objectives. This encompasses setting priorities, coordinating with relevant collection sources or agencies, monitoring outcomes, and re-tasking as necessary. The role includes supporting the solicitation, coordination, research, de-confliction, creation, registration, prioritization, and validation of diverse intelligence discipline collection requirements management in accordance with established policies. The individual will also convert received requirements into discipline-specific terminology following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Combat Support Agency (CSA) directives. This includes managing associated issue trackers and requirements tracking systems, as well as collection requirement programs of record. The individual will research and oversee USCENTCOM Theater priorities or Intelligence Community (IC) directives to align collection requests with strategic priorities, balancing urgent requests with ongoing collection requirements to ensure effective deployment of ISR resources. Responsibilities also include managing the Joint Intelligence Prioritized Collection List and Component Intelligence Collection List databases as required. The individual will provide regular updates to requestors regarding the status of collection requirements, including submission for tasking and expected collection timelines, while adjusting requirements to optimize the deployment of limited resources. The role involves reviewing existing collection requirements and communicating with originators regarding status, disposition, and expiration, as well as developing summaries of ISR utilization and contributions, and managing issue and requirements tracking databases.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for polygraph.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or specialized training combined with 4-8 years of experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ISR and Collection Management concepts, principles, and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to complex, multi-agency assignments.

• Proficiency in analytical and evaluative techniques for developing innovative work methods, alternative uses of new data sources, and identifying, assessing, and recommending solutions to challenges.

• A dedicated professional with the capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for collaboration, sharing best practices, and addressing gaps in knowledge.
