Collection Managers are essential to the ISR process, ensuring that component needs are prioritized and addressed, thereby minimizing intelligence deficiencies and guiding resource allocation. We seek candidates who can integrate established practices with innovative technological solutions. Success in this role requires the ability to translate intelligence demands into well-defined collection requirements.

Key Responsibilities: The individual will collaborate with analysts to ascertain intelligence needs, devise potential collection strategies, and transform these needs into actionable collection requirements that meet USCENTCOM's intelligence objectives. This includes setting priorities, coordinating with relevant collection sources or agencies, monitoring outcomes, and re-tasking as necessary. The role involves supporting the solicitation, coordination, research, de-confliction, creation, registration, prioritization, and validation of various intelligence discipline collection requirements management in accordance with established policies. This will encompass managing associated issue trackers and requirements databases, as well as collection requirement programs. The individual will also translate received requirements into discipline-specific terminology following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Combat Support Agency (CSA) directives. Additionally, the employee will research and manage USCENTCOM Theater priorities or Intelligence Community (IC) directives to align collection requests with strategic priorities, balancing urgent requests with ongoing collection needs to ensure effective deployment of ISR resources. This includes managing the Joint Intelligence Prioritized Collection List and Component Intelligence Collection List databases as required. The individual will regularly update requestors on the status of collection requirements, including tasking submissions and expected collection timelines, and will adjust requirements to optimize the use of limited resources. The role also involves reviewing existing collection requirements and liaising with originators regarding status, disposition, and relevance, as well as developing summaries of ISR utilization and contributions and managing issue and requirements tracking databases.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for polygraph examination.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or specialized training with 4-8 years of experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ISR and Collection Management concepts, principles, and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to complex, multi-agency assignments.

• Proficiency in analytical and evaluative techniques for developing innovative work methods, exploring alternative uses of data sources, and identifying and recommending solutions to challenges.
