Job Overview

At Stymco Medical LLC, our objective is to deliver cutting-edge and efficient durable medical devices, including braces, mobility aids, wound care products, ostomy supplies, and enteral nutrition items through our extensive provider network. We currently have an opening for motivated individuals with experience in medical billing and collections, who are adept at communicating with insurance companies and patients over the phone. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor overdue accounts and manage collections.
  • Collect outstanding debts from insurance providers and patients.
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and submit appeals to insurance companies.
  • Follow up on payment discrepancies, low disbursements, and denials.
  • Accurately bill claims to various payers, including commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries from insurance companies and patients in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare insurance collections, with proficiency in managing aging reports and understanding EOBs.
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing, and the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Familiarity with Medisoft is preferred.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability to work in an office setting during standard business hours.
