Job Description
The Administrative Assistant III position at Southern Oregon Education Service District (SOESD) requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to program administrators and manage office supplies. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing documents, answering phones, and responding to emails, as well as managing office supplies and maintaining accurate records. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $17.71-$21.20 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid holidays and leave time. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare documents, including letters, reports, and memos, from draft or general instructions
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide administrative support to program administrators
- Manage office supplies, including ordering and inventorying materials
- Maintain accurate records, including filing and data entry

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and four years progressively responsible secretarial experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
