Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our PRN team at Avamere Health Services of Rogue in Medford, Oregon. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential through personalized therapy plans, education, and support.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for patients, addressing their unique needs and goals.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Promote patient independence and empowerment through education and training on daily living skills, self-care, and adaptive techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Clinical experience in a rehab or long-term care setting preferred.
- Licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and HIPAA regulations.
- Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year (dependent on experience).
