About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our Direct Sales Team in Palo Alto, California. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new accounts and expanding existing ones within an established geographic territory or product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to capitalize on current and future market trends or achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Work closely with senior management on a wide range of critical issues.
  • Identify product strategies for Dell's approach to various customers and industries.
  • Conduct competitor assessments and evolution of profit pools.

Requirements:

  • Experience selling technology solutions.
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Good communication, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to provide insight to senior management.
  • Basic knowledge of contract interpretation, negotiations, and project management.
  • 0–2 years of outside sales experience.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.

What We Offer:

  • Total Target Compensation range for this position is $139,400-$180,400, which includes base salary and commissions.
