Position Overview
As a key member of the finance team at Shogun, the Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial operations. This position involves overseeing essential accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, as well as preparing reconciliations and closing reports for various periods.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
2. Prepare and review account reconciliations
3. Collaborate on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
4. Conduct bi-weekly and monthly flux analysis
5. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
6. Prepare sales tax returns and review expense reimbursements
7. Support the maintenance of accounting controls, policies, and procedures
8. Prepare 1099 forms and assist with ad-hoc projects

Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent time management and proactive approach

Preferred:
- Experience in the technology sector or startup environment
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks, NetSuite, or Airbase
- Previous experience in preparing 1099 forms
