Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Prepare detailed account reconciliations and assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
- Generate bi-weekly and monthly financial flux analyses.
- Support the preparation of sales tax returns and review expense reimbursements.
- Assist in maintaining accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare necessary documentation for 1099 forms.
- Contribute to various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and their practical application.
- Excellent time management skills with a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the technology sector or startup environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks, NetSuite, or Airbase.
- Experience in preparing 1099 forms.
