About the Role

Denver Mattress is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager Trainee to join our team. As a Sales Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for selling our unique array of mattresses and accessories, while receiving hands-on training in sales, marketing, and business development techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers, ascertaining their mattress wants and needs
  • Answer customer questions and inquiries regarding products and services
  • Seek out information and knowledge regarding new products
  • Set and achieve personal goals
  • Present and prepare contracts and process transactions in POS
  • Place orders and locate stock
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and policies regarding payment, exchanges, and store security
  • Participate in merchandising and product displays
Requirements
  • Strong desire to succeed, integrity, commitment, and drive to provide exceptional customer service
  • Persistence and ability to influence others
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous work experience in any field where you have had regular interaction with people
  • Coachability and hard work with a commitment to learning
  • Desire to set and exceed goals
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and learn new skills
  • Ability to perform well while being a team player
  • Comfortable working with clientele and ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Experience with POS systems and Merchandise Inventory Systems, preferred
