About Imperative Chemical Partners:

The Field Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in comprehending client needs and leveraging technical expertise in areas such as scale, corrosion, paraffin, emulsion, and H2S, among others. This position involves analytical skills to deliver guidance and assistance regarding a variety of products with specific technical parameters. The role includes on-site support at oil and gas well sites, saltwater disposal facilities, and midstream operations to troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and collect data for proposals that will enhance the technical capabilities offered by Imperative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in troubleshooting by conducting system evaluations, analyzing data, and providing documented recommendations to optimize client operations.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to initiate new applications for both existing and prospective clients, conduct site assessments, product application reviews, and field tests of new offerings.
  • Exhibit strong organizational abilities.
  • Ensure punctuality for assessments and technical assistance for both new and existing clients.
  • Adhere to a 3-day lead time when no other projects are in progress.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritizing based on completion time, project initiation date, and internal deadlines.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards set by both clients and Imperative Chemical Partners.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail when preparing assessments and resolving technical challenges, including the use of images, diagrams, and written reports.
  • Complete all requirements outlined in Technical Service Request forms.
  • Effectively identify existing issues.
  • Utilize observations to suggest potential mechanical process modifications.
  • Submit reports from field visits promptly.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a technical role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in oil and gas chemicals.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 6 or more years of experience in oil and gas chemicals.
