Technical Sales Engineer for Process Control Solutions

Eagle Tech Consultants is seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is driven, diligent, and eager to advance within our organization.

The Technical Sales Engineer acts as a vital resource for both pre-sales and post-order support, delivering technical and commercial insights to our internal and external clientele. This role encompasses a wide range of products from Automation Solutions and other esteemed manufacturers, catering to various sectors within process control industries.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for Process Controls and its partners, providing expert technical product knowledge and commercial insights tailored to the Energy sectors, including Oil and Gas, Refining, and other Process Industries.
  • Engage with clients through various communication channels to assist in the accurate selection of equipment and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, management, and manufacturer representatives to address customer quotations, account strategies, competitive scenarios, and technical solutions.
  • Offer exceptional technical support to clients in the selection, application, initiation, and maintenance of products.
  • Participate in diverse training sessions, ranging from intimate group discussions to large-scale presentations and development workshops.
  • Ensure the effective application of Application Engineering practices and customer service standards to optimize organizational performance and success.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant technical and/or sales experience with engineered products in the industrial process control or oil and gas sectors, or equivalent engineering or operational experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, showcasing entrepreneurial insight, and balancing these objectives for mutual success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening abilities to foster robust relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, handle a demanding workload, take ownership of customer quotes and orders, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, with the readiness and aptitude to address challenges effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in basic PC skills and capable of utilizing and learning various software applications, including MS Office and SAP.
