Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Retirement Plan Advisor to take charge of the strategic planning, consulting, guidance, marketing, investment analysis, and servicing of a designated portfolio of retirement business. The ideal candidate will possess or have previously held a FINRA Series 6, 63, or 65 license and be open to regional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities outline the essential functions of this role. This list is not exhaustive and may include additional duties as assigned:
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen client relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a resource for compliance matters, conduct compliance reviews, and communicate compliance issues to clients.
  • Proactively schedule and participate in regular client meetings to ensure ongoing satisfaction with services.
  • Independently provide consultation and advice to clients on intricate retirement plan matters.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and communication of resolutions; utilize Salesforce for tracking purposes.
  • Coordinate data collection and prepare presentations for client meetings.
  • Conduct thorough investment analysis on plan investment options.
  • Organize and lead employee education sessions.
  • Oversee all internal reporting and tracking requirements for the retirement department, including CRM database management and revenue report preparation.
  • Foster positive interactions and collaboration with internal staff and senior management.
  • Engage in team projects and special assignments as required.
  • Adhere to established NFP internal protocols and procedures.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the services offered by NFP, providing expert guidance and developing solutions for current and future projects, while executing strategies to demonstrate value and retain clients.
General Responsibilities:
  • Provide progress updates as necessary.
  • Manage all internal reporting and tracking components for the retirement department, including Salesforce database maintenance and document management.
  • Participate in internal meetings as required.
  • Encourage positive interactions and collaboration with internal staff and senior management.
  • Contribute to team projects and special assignments as needed.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to new projects and responsibilities.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Operate in alignment with established NFP internal protocols and procedures.
  • Comprehend and represent the services provided by NFP, offering expert advice, developing solutions for ongoing and future projects, and executing strategies to consistently illustrate value and retain existing clients.
