The Bestow Revenue team is committed to revolutionizing the Life Insurance sector by equipping insurance carriers with a technological platform that fosters innovation and enhances their product offerings and distribution methods.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are in search of a highly proficient and enthusiastic Solutions Engineer to join our vibrant team.

The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of the life insurance landscape, robust technical expertise, and outstanding communication abilities.

As a Solutions Engineer at Bestow, you will be instrumental in connecting our software solutions with the specific needs of our life insurance carrier clients, expediting our discovery processes, and empowering our sales and product teams.

This position reports to Bestow's VP of Partner Success & Strategic Partnerships and is available for remote work within the US.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
• Engage with clients to thoroughly comprehend their business operations, challenges, and technical requirements.
• Conduct detailed needs assessments through meetings, interviews, and workshops with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with our Product Managers to document and translate client requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Act as a liaison between clients, sales & success teams, and product/engineering teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on objectives and timelines for discovery.

• Work with the revenue team to understand client needs and present customized software solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations to illustrate the value of our solutions to potential clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering technical insights and recommendations to address their challenges.

• Provide training and support to clients as needed, ensuring they are equipped to fully leverage our software solutions.

• Support the discovery process with internal teams, ensuring that the appropriate stakeholders are involved in gathering requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation throughout the sales and discovery phases to facilitate the efforts of Bestow's delivery teams.
• Collaborate closely with product management to document requirements and propose potential solutions.
• Maintain current plans to complete discovery and requirements gathering for each assigned opportunity.
• Develop and sustain partner-facing materials to assist in discovery and requirements-gathering initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest enhancements to boost efficiency and client satisfaction.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or a similar role in B2B enterprise software.
• Proven success working with large enterprise B2B clients, particularly in financial services or other complex and/or heavily regulated sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of the life insurance industry, including key processes, regulatory requirements, market trends, and existing systems.
• Strong technical skills, with experience in high-level software design & architecture (both front-end and back-end) and systems integration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and adaptively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
$145,000 - $160,000 a year Starting compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
