Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Retirement Solutions Consultant to independently oversee the strategic planning, advisory services, marketing, investment evaluation, and management of a designated portfolio of retirement business. The ideal candidate will possess or have previously held a FINRA Series 6, 63, or 65 license and be open to regional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

The following duties outline the general nature and level of work performed by individuals in this role. This list is not exhaustive and may include additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen client relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a resource for compliance matters, conduct compliance assessments, and communicate compliance concerns to clients.
  • Proactively arrange and participate in regular client meetings to ensure ongoing satisfaction with services.
  • Provide independent consultation and advice to clients on intricate retirement plan matters.
  • Address, resolve, and follow up on client inquiries; maintain records in Salesforce to track issues and their resolutions.
  • Coordinate data collection and prepare presentations for client meetings.
  • Conduct investment evaluations on retirement plan options.
  • Organize and lead employee education sessions.
  • Manage all internal reporting and tracking components required by the retirement department, including CRM database management, revenue report preparation, and file maintenance.
  • Foster positive interactions and collaboration with internal teams and senior management.
  • Engage in team projects and special assignments as required.
  • Adhere to established NFP internal protocols and procedures.
  • Understand and represent the services offered by NFP, providing expert guidance, developing solutions for current and future projects, and executing strategies to consistently demonstrate value and retain clients.
General Expectations:
  • Provide progress updates as necessary.
  • Manage all internal reporting and tracking components required by the retirement department, including database management and file organization.
  • Participate in internal meetings as required.
  • Exhibit positive interactions and cooperation with internal staff and management.
  • Contribute to team projects and special assignments as needed.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take on new responsibilities and projects.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Operate in accordance with established NFP internal protocols and procedures.
