Position Overview: The Facilities Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Senior Facilities Manager in achieving both short-term and long-term objectives and projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute innovative programs, processes, and procedures aimed at minimizing operational costs while enhancing productivity in collaboration with the Senior Facility Management Lead, Account Leader, and the client.
  • Oversee reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all facilities-related reports in accordance with client record-keeping policies.
  • Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure efficient operations.
  • Lead facilities staff to meet service expectations within the established budget.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of the annual management plan for the facilities under management.
  • Oversee the development and management of capital and expense budgets through close collaboration with client representatives.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by fostering a seamless interface between the client’s real estate organization and facilities through effective leadership, responsiveness, and creativity.
  • Recommend capital improvements and prepare operating budget reports, including monthly forecasts and variance reports.
  • Adhere to the annual performance plan and achieve Key Performance Indicators as outlined in the Performance Agreement.
  • Share innovative practices and best practices with the designated owner of best practices for JLL Facilities Management.
  • Supervise contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with all client and JLL policies while delivering services effectively.
  • Oversee the overall service delivery of contracted services, ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management with a focus on management or technical aspects; an MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a corporate environment, third-party service provider, or as a consultant.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage both technical and administrative personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
