Position Overview: Uphold the Mission, Vision, and Culture by driving revenue and assisting the Store Manager in the comprehensive oversight of the retail establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Boost sales; Achieve all sales and productivity objectives
  • Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Develop staff schedules to ensure optimal service and sales performance
  • Suggest candidates for recruitment, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Handle cash register responsibilities, including cash counting, adhering to register protocols, organizing daily financial records, and making cash deposits
  • Educate and mentor the sales team on sales techniques and product knowledge; Identify training requirements
  • Monitor the store for potential theft and security vulnerabilities
  • Comprehend the store concept and comply with all organizational policies and procedures, including safety regulations
  • Formulate a marketing plan and organize displays to enhance customer satisfaction and stimulate growth
  • Manage inventory orders
  • Compile sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and categorizing sales data; Identify and address customer complaints and service feedback
  • Maintain store inventory at appropriate merchandising levels
  • Assist customers by providing information, responding to inquiries, obtaining requested merchandise, and completing payment transactions
  • Ensure high-quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards
  • Foster a positive, safe, and clean working environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends

Skills and Competencies:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail sales preferred
  • Demonstrated success in sales generation
  • Exemplary leadership abilities to positively influence and guide team members
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Proven capacity to build and sustain relationships and drive sales in person
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Accurate and professional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities
  • Motivated to achieve goals and deliver results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adept at using Point of Sale Systems (POS)

Educational Background:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree or some college coursework preferred
