Key Responsibilities:


As a software engineer, you will collaborate with a team to design, develop, test, and maintain software products for Air Mobility C-130J and C-5 aircraft.

You will be expected to operate effectively within a configuration-managed software development environment throughout all phases of the project life cycle.

Adherence to stringent company and program-specific software development protocols (PM 4001) is essential. Experience in software development encompassing requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design, coding, integration, and testing is mandatory.

This role necessitates strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to foster consensus among peers while nurturing solid relationships within Agile Development Teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with RTOS (real-time operating systems)
  • Experience with C/C++ programming
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, or electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Ada95 and/or Python programming languages.
  • Knowledge of DO-178B/C standards
  • Familiarity with compilers, debuggers, and static/dynamic code analysis tools
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., VectorCAST)
  • LINK 16 experience is a plus
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; US Citizenship is necessary for consideration.
