About the Role

Nou Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Junior RF Engineer to join our Technical Solutions department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research and development, design, and fabrication of novel radar/RF technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research and development of innovative RF systems and technologies
  • Provide technical input to design teams in radar or RF systems research and development
  • Collaborate with multidiscipline design teams in fabrication/code, integration, and test activities
  • Communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineering, scientific, and technical audiences
  • Perform trade-off analyses and modeling, simulation, and analysis of alternatives to evaluate system effectiveness, utility, and performance
  • Assist in translating objectives into architectural concepts, system quantitative and functional requirements, and develop system specifications and external interfaces
  • Make sound decisions based on engineering judgment
  • Operate independently and be proactive in identifying problems and solutions
  • Interact with customers to convey system objectives and constraints
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of full-time professional experience in RF analog electronics and test equipment
  • Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated hands-on technical expertise with RF analog electronics and test equipment
  • Relevant RF systems design experience
  • Interpersonal communications skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
