Comcast Spectacor manages the Wells Fargo Center and its significant transformation project, including the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a burgeoning live events business that has successfully introduced new events to the Philadelphia region.

Comcast Spectacor is based at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA.

The WFC, recognized as the 4th most attended arena nationally and 7th globally, hosts over 270 events annually, featuring the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, Villanova, concerts, and various events.

Comcast Spectacor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast and operates both connected and disconnected networks within the Wells Fargo Center.

Position Summary

Responsible for adhering to established protocols and executing detailed accounting tasks that necessitate a fundamental understanding of accounting principles and theories. Work is subject to general oversight and is conducted under the guidance of senior accounting staff.

Provides specialized or general analytical support across various accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cost Accounting, Property Accounting, General Accounting, and similar areas.

Reviews and evaluates journal entries, accounting classifications, and other financial statements, records, and reports.
Core Responsibilities


Implements adjustments and closing entries, prepares profit and loss statements, manages inventory, receipts, disbursements, and balance sheets, and calculates and allocates labor, material, and overhead costs.

Prepares calculations and disbursements for the organization. Maintains documentation for prepaid and accrual accounts, in addition to entering monthly journal entries. Assists with both internal and external audit processes as required.
Supports senior accountants in various accounting tasks.
Ensures accuracy in balance sheet accounts.
Records monthly journal entries to accurately reflect accounting transactions.
Analyzes financial statements for operational trends and outcomes.
Calculates payments to regulatory bodies as directed by the Manager.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is expected. Must be available to work nights, weekends, varying schedules, and overtime as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Will primarily focus on the accounting of Retail Operations.

This includes:
Recording Daily Revenues/COGS from Retail Systems (Brick & Mortar and Ecommerce) into ERP (Netsuite)
Managing Vendor Relationships and Setup
Settling with Merchandise Vendors post-Events
Calculating and Disbursing Commissions/Tips for Retail Staff
Conducting Inventory Reconciliation
Assisting with Forecasting and Expense Management

Bachelor's Degree:
Accounting (Required), High School Diploma / GED (Required)
