Position Summary
The Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in executing detailed accounting tasks that require a foundational understanding of accounting principles. This position operates under the supervision of senior accounting staff and is responsible for providing analytical support across various accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and adjust financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and inventory assessments.
- Conduct calculations and manage payments for the organization, ensuring accurate maintenance of financial records.
- Assist senior accountants with diverse accounting projects and tasks.
- Verify the accuracy of balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation.
- Input monthly journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions.
- Analyze financial statements to identify operational trends and performance metrics.
- Calculate regulatory payments in accordance with managerial guidelines.
- Maintain regular attendance and be available for variable schedules, including nights and weekends as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Record Daily Revenues and COGS from Retail Systems into ERP (Netsuite)
- Manage Vendor Relationships and Setup
- Process Settlements with Merchandise Vendors post-Events
- Calculate and Disburse Commissions/Tips for Retail Staff
- Conduct Inventory Reconciliation
- Support Forecasting and Expense Management Activities

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, along with a High School Diploma or GED. While a degree is preferred, Comcast may also consider candidates with relevant coursework and experience or those with substantial professional backgrounds in accounting.
Work Experience
0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
