Medical Office Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to provide administrative support to our medical clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front office, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and patients, and relaying incoming and inter-office telephone calls.
- Schedule medical clinic patient visits in person or on the phone, efficiently managing available appointment time slots using the Next Gen EPM system.
- Ensure that all community health nurse visits and home visits are correctly entered into the EPM system in a timely manner.
- Perform data entry tasks, utilizing multiple computer systems and data entry programs.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Experience with multiple computer systems, data entry programs, and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to acquire and maintain BLS certification within 180 days of hire.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, located in Klamath Falls. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
