Position Overview
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Lead Maintenance Mechanic to enhance our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and execute both preventative and corrective maintenance on all production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
  • Lead a team of maintenance mechanics, offering training, guidance, and support to ensure peak performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues across a range of equipment, including pneumatic systems, controls, and motors.
  • Develop and enforce maintenance protocols and schedules utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), ensuring accurate logging and tracking of all maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to pinpoint potential improvements and implement strategies to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all maintenance activities, fostering a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the acquisition of necessary spare parts and equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and avert breakdowns.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical maintenance, including experience with pneumatic systems, controls, motors, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficient in utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various departments.
  • High level of physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • A relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is advantageous.
