As a Maintenance Technician in our expansive Distribution Center, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of all material handling machinery.

Your maintenance expertise with fulfillment center equipment will be crucial in supporting DXL's objectives by:

  • Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on various equipment including conveyors, sorters, forklifts, electric motors, and drives.
  • Identifying and resolving maintenance issues within the Distribution Center and corporate facilities.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors and vendors for the testing, maintenance, and repair of all Distribution Center and facility equipment.
  • Assisting with the relocation of furniture and equipment within the Distribution Center and corporate offices.
  • Documenting all departmental activities such as work logs, equipment checklists, and preventive maintenance records.

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Possess 1-3 years of maintenance experience with fulfillment center material handling equipment.
  • Have familiarity with EuroSort Sorters, Dematic (Rapistan) conveyors, and other material handling systems as an advantage.
  • Exhibit a general understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, conveyor systems, lift trucks, and mechanical systems.
