Facilities Maintenance Specialist

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist in our expansive Distribution Center, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of all material handling machinery.

Utilizing your maintenance expertise with fulfillment center equipment, you will significantly contribute to DXL's objectives by:

  • Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on various machinery including conveyors, sorters, forklifts, electric motors, and drives.
  • Identifying and resolving maintenance issues within the Distribution Center and corporate facilities.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors and vendors for the testing, maintenance, and repair of all Distribution Center and facility equipment.
  • Assisting with the relocation of furniture and equipment within the Distribution Center and corporate offices.
  • Documenting all departmental activities, including work logs, equipment checklists, and preventive maintenance records.

We seek candidates who:

  • Possess 1-3 years of maintenance experience with fulfillment center material handling equipment.
  • Have familiarity with EuroSort Sorters, Dematic (Rapistan) conveyors, and other material handling machinery.
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, conveyor systems, lift trucks, and mechanical systems.
