We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Printing Specialist to join our team at Ignyte AI. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed printing equipment and digital production printers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate High-Speed Printing Equipment: You will be responsible for operating our high-speed printing equipment, including floor model inserters and digital production printers, to produce high-quality prints.
- Setup and Programming: You will need to set up and program menus on our equipment, including printers and inserters, to ensure efficient and accurate printing.
- Electronic File Release: You will be responsible for releasing electronic files from our print queue system over the network and selecting the correct print stream for our 7 machines.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: You will need to provide maintenance and troubleshoot various equipment found in our in-plant print shop, including paper cutters, folders, and 3-hole drills.
- Productivity and Quality: You will be responsible for maintaining productivity and delivering high-quality prints while meeting production deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: You will need to pay close attention to detail to ensure that confidential PHI printed materials are accurate and secure.
- Software Proficiency: You should have experience utilizing software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Adobe, QDIRECT Print Queue Management, Print Shop Mail (mail merge software), Rediprint, and AIMS (insert software) for 2D bar code closed-loop technology.
- Image Content Management: You should be able to edit and manage image content to mail merge an address file in MS Excel, as well as add variable data drops onto sensitive and confidential communications (PHI) using software such as Print Shop Mail or Rediprint.
- Problem-Solving: You should be able to diagnose, solve, and correct operating issues on your own, including on high-speed high-volume production printers and inserters.
- Communication Skills: You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, constructively, and tactfully with internal employees at all levels.
- Customer Service: You should have strong customer service skills, including the ability to work with internal customers to review unclear instructions, offer alternatives, and provide specific information about current trends and options available in our print shop.
