Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive IT Support and Media Solutions Expert to enhance our technological framework and provide essential support to our faculty, staff, and students.

In this role, you will serve as the primary resource for all technology-related inquiries. Your responsibilities will include managing hardware and software resources, addressing technical issues for both local and remote users, and ensuring that our technology systems operate seamlessly. You will facilitate data connectivity for classrooms and meetings, oversee audio-visual setups, and provide user training, significantly contributing to the daily functions of our institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Deliver on-site and remote assistance for desktop systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
  • User Assistance: Address and resolve end-user issues promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Asset Management: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software while managing inventory effectively.
  • User Training: Equip users with knowledge through training on hardware, software, and systems.
  • Audio-Visual Coordination: Manage audio-visual setups for events, ensuring smooth presentations.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee technology projects, including migrations and the implementation of new solutions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with external IT service providers to resolve issues and enhance systems.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of support activities and resolutions.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in deploying and troubleshooting hardware and peripherals.
  • Experienced in managing conference room setups, video conferencing tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability as a desktop technician to address complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
