Epsilon Data Interactive, Inc. is on the lookout for a Lead Financial Systems Consultant to enhance our Financial Systems division.

In this role, you will oversee the deployment of innovative technologies and provide support for existing solutions and processes that underpin our Financial Planning and Sales Compensation operations.

The Lead Financial Systems Consultant will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance and collaborate closely with team members, users, and the broader finance/IT community, particularly with our financial forecasting tool, Prophix.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Financial Systems Consultant, you will serve as the main business systems support for the Prophix financial system, managing regular data integrations, monthly actuals, and scenario structure administration.

Your responsibilities will include system enhancements, process and system integration oversight, hierarchy management, and the development of new processes in partnership with FP&A, internal and external system support/development teams, and other essential stakeholders.

You will be tasked with creating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), working directly with various departments including finance, accounting, and internal IT (hardware, software, networking, and database administration).

Additionally, you will act as a representative for the Financial Systems team, proactively ensuring optimal utilization of technology across the organization.

This role will also involve assessing reporting requirements and proposing enhancements as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, structures, and corporate financial reporting is essential
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial systems administration
  • Familiarity with Prophix is required
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial and operational modeling for configuration validation
  • General understanding of relational and multi-dimensional database structures and their applications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Project/SDLC management
  • Additional experience with other enterprise analytical systems
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
