Job Overview

Position Summary

Epsilon is in search of a Lead Financial Systems Consultant to enhance our Financial Systems team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the deployment of innovative technologies and provide ongoing support for current solutions and workflows that underpin our Financial Planning and Sales Compensation operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance, you will collaborate closely with team members, users, and the broader finance/IT community utilizing our financial forecasting tool, Prophix.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Financial Systems Consultant, you will serve as the primary business systems support for the Prophix financial platform, managing regular data integrations, monthly actuals, and scenario structure oversight. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing system updates and managing process and system integrations.
  • Maintaining hierarchy structures and developing new processes in coordination with FP&A and other key stakeholders.
  • Creating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
  • Engaging with various departments, including finance, accounting, and internal IT.
  • Promoting the Financial Systems team to ensure optimal technology utilization.
  • Assessing reporting requirements and recommending enhancements as necessary.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient understanding of ERP systems and corporate financial reporting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial systems administration.
  • Familiarity with Prophix software.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including financial and operational modeling.
  • General knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database structures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in Project/SDLC management.
  • Familiarity with other enterprise analytical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
