Job Summary

The Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, ensuring a positive experience for our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service
    • Provide a warm and welcoming environment for clients and their pets
    • Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
    • Initiate the process of meeting client needs and resolving issues within established guidelines
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other hospital staff
    • Use excellent phone etiquette and respond to phone calls promptly
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Update computer records with current client and patient information
    • Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Work Environment

The Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine Inc is a clean and well-organized facility with easily accessible medical equipment and supplies. The reception area can be noisy at times, but we provide protective equipment for nervous animals.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or related field preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
    • Detail-oriented and organized
    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
