Anaplan is seeking a Vice President of Regional Sales for the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector to join our dynamic team at one of the leading cloud solution providers. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in new business development and account management within Global 2000 enterprises in the Retail and CPG sectors to promote a highly adaptable solution that empowers organizations to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the activities of the Enterprise Account Executives to surpass company revenue targets.
  • Balance the closure of immediate deals while cultivating long-term business opportunities.
  • Facilitate and lead regular one-on-one and team meetings to review pipelines, share best practices, and enhance skills.
  • Manage daily operations, sales forecasts, and deal closures to consistently achieve above-quota performance through effective pipeline management.
  • Attract, recruit, onboard, and retain high-caliber sales professionals.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and revenue potential for Enterprise accounts within the designated region.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in enterprise software sales, with a successful track record of engaging with C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, develop, and empower team members to meet objectives collaboratively.
  • Proficient in showcasing SaaS/cloud-based software solutions across Finance, Sales Operations, and Workforce Management.
  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets in a complex sales environment.
  • Experience in managing territories and strategic planning at both regional and account levels.
  • Expertise in training and mentoring on enterprise software sales methodologies, particularly MEDDICC.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor's or Advanced Degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EPM, BI, or ERP systems.
  • Success in selling to Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales Operations sectors.
  • An MBA is preferred.
