Regional Vice President Job Description

Mercer Advisors is a leading wealth management firm that provides comprehensive financial services to high net worth individuals and families. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Vice President to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Regional Vice President will be responsible for growing our RIA referral platform by developing and maintaining relationships with our channel partners. This role requires a strong sales and marketing background, with a proven track record of driving sales momentum and generating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Financial Consultants and Branch Managers to build strong relationships and drive sales growth
  • Foster positive channel partner relationships and serve as an ambassador for Mercer Advisors
  • Grow and cultivate an assigned region through frequent visits to branch offices, phone wholesaling, and ongoing communication
  • Proactively initiate business development calls and identify new sales opportunities
  • Meet directly with channel referral prospects via in-person and phone/video meetings to generate new clients and billable assets under management
  • Work with Client Service units to develop client referral relationships and close opportunities
  • Provide insight and information to become a valuable resource and partner
  • Implement company policies and procedures and ensure adherence to company standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience in the financial services industry
  • Series 65 or combination of Series 7 and Series 66 license required
  • Comprehensive industry and investment management knowledge
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills in high-volume, high-energy environments
  • Flexibility to travel up to 75%
