Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Systems Security Specialist to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing network operations, while serving as a liaison with senior government personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage network administration for local enclaves, including hardware, firmware, software, and wiring/optics.
  • Assist the U.S. Government with oversight of all IT-related responsibilities within the directorate, including cybersecurity and management of IT hardware and software.
  • Provide configuration management support for Government-owned equipment used by individuals and in conference rooms to access both classified and unclassified networks.
  • Analyze and resolve hardware and operating system issues with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management to plan and organize site management projects.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Convey complex technical information in an accessible and understandable manner.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, candidates must have 13 years of experience in a related field.
  • Must have experience working and supporting in Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF).
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance must be held and maintained. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security + Certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date.
