This role will deliver consistent support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish intricate operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems.
  • Oversee file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and maintain system documentation as necessary.
  • Analyze and resolve system anomalies to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Prepare systems for operational use and assist in operational testing.
  • Review, prepare, and update authorization packages.
  • Inform clients of any changes that may impact authorization accreditation.
  • Conduct cybersecurity self-inspection checklists.
  • Review and provide technical and cybersecurity coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that constitute the authorization package.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate countermeasures.
  • Ensure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of in compliance with security policies and practices.
  • Administer, schedule, and configure Video-Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
  • Provide external information system client support.
  • Manage account creations, modifications, and deletions across multiple authorization boundaries.
  • Conduct help desk and troubleshooting activities.
  • Oversee hardware/software system configuration, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Perform system and network appliance patching activities.
  • Support government-issued laptop operations.
  • Assist in media control and accountability tasks.
  • Manage COMSEC account and equipment activities.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including SAP experience.

Prior roles in System Administration, Network Administration, or IT/IA Specialist positions are preferred.


Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years).


Certifications:

IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).


Clearance Requirements:

Must possess TS/SCI clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.


Additional Requirements:

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2016, and Microsoft Windows 7/10 OS administration, along with associated hardware.

Familiarity with Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies, as well as data backup technologies, including communication security (COMSEC) integration.

Understanding of Risk Management Framework, SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to Assessment and Authorizations.

Experience with PL2 systems; knowledge of PL3 & PL4 cross-domain solutions is advantageous.

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
