The core responsibility involves engaging with Special Access Programs (SAPs) to support various Department of Defense (DoD) entities, including HQ Air Force and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).

This role entails providing consistent support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish intricate operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for designated computer systems.
  • Manage file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and necessary system documentation.
  • Analyze and resolve system anomalies to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
  • Prepare systems for operational deployment and assist in operational testing.
  • Review, prepare, and update authorization packages.
  • Notify stakeholders of changes that may impact authorization accreditation.
  • Conduct the cybersecurity segment of self-inspection checklists.
  • Review and provide technical and cybersecurity coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that constitute the authorization package.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate countermeasures.
  • Ensure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of according to security policies and practices.
  • Administer, schedule, and configure Video-Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
  • Provide support for external information systems.

Client Support:
  • Perform account creation, modifications, and deletions across multiple authorization boundaries.
  • Conduct help desk and troubleshooting activities.
  • Execute hardware/software system configurations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Carry out system and network appliance patching activities.
  • Support government-issued laptop management.
  • Assist in media control and accountability tasks.
  • Manage COMSEC account and equipment activities.

Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with prior SAP experience being essential. Previous roles in System Administration, Network Administration, or IT/IA Specialist positions are preferred.

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years).

Certifications:
IAT Level II or IAM Level II must be obtained within 6 months of hire (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).

Clearance Requirements:
TS/SCI clearance is mandatory, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Additional Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2012R2 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2016, and Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating systems administration, along with associated hardware.

Familiarity with Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies, as well as data backup technologies, including communication security (COMSEC) integration.

Understanding of Risk Management Framework, SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy related to Assessment and Authorizations.

Current relevant experience with PL2 systems is required; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross-domain solutions is desirable.

Must be capable of regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.

Minimal travel may be necessary.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Salary and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $89,505 - $121,095, subject to adjustments based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Further information regarding benefits and our total rewards program is available.
