Job Summary

The Seattle Indian Health Board is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Finance team. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with month-end closing and prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in our financial system.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit organization.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
