General Summary:

Coordinate and direct workloads for the Domestic and Foreign Merchandise area and assist with the resolution of complicated issues.

Prepare and process Wire Transfer/Draft payments.

Job Responsibilities

Manage payment forecasting and processing of Domestic and Foreign Merch Invoices.
Manage vendor rebate program to ensure rebates are appropriately applied and recouped
Act as liaison between Accounts Payable and vendor to resolve Accounts Payable general ledger related questions as well as routine payment, statement, and unresolved supplier issues
Maintain InforNexus vendor Masterfile and financial coding tables
Review over tolerance invoices and new vendor set-ups.
Prepare and process wire transfers and draft payments.
Reconcile and breakdown debit notes/Rebates.
Void merchandise checks when needed.
Review and process various merch claims.
Reconcile AP accounts Monthly.
Communicate with Vendors, Merchandising, sourcing, and Warehouse to resolve any outstanding payment issues.
Work on special projects as assigned.
Complete Journal entries as needed at month end.
Process Customs and Duty invoices.
Monitor and organize a high-volume shared email in-box.
Responsible for making sure that invoices are coded to the correct accounts and are paid to the correct vendor.
Perform such other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or higher; Accounting or Finance emphasis preferred.
3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably within a retail company.
Strong accounting background with knowledge in Inventory and Cost Accounting
Strong experience working with Infor Nexus and SAP.
Experience working with multiple currencies.
Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast pace environment.
Ability to work well with others and motivate colleagues.
Effective written and verbal communication skills;
Good organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Strong excel experience
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word
Advanced Excel skills; v-lookups, functions, and pivot tables required.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, including group mailbox management.
Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards and Company's policy.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level

Requirements & EEO Statement

The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00 hourly. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
