**About the Role**

K2 Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Subcontractor Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Accounting Team, you will be responsible for managing daily tasks associated with various projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review and verify subcontractor applications, lien releases, and affidavits of suppliers for accuracy and billing requirements.
  • Notify subcontractors of missing or non-compliant billing requirements and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Process subcontract documents and maintain electronic filing systems.
  • Verify subcontractor prevailing wage requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Verify subcontract agreements, change orders, and update accounting systems accordingly.
  • Process job cost transfers for materials, equipment, and other related costs.
  • Compile invoices and documentation for monthly owner substantiation.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • General accounting administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and see projects through completion.
  • Attention to detail, strong time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent commitment to customer service.
  • Familiarity with GCPay Online billing platform is a plus.
