Job Title: Administrative Officer

Broward County is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Officer to support the Natural Resources Division. As a key member of the team, you will provide professional-level assistance to high-level executives, working independently under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Division, including finance, administration, procurement, human resources, and contract management.
  • Assist with budget preparation, fiscal year-end processes, and revenue management.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, process public records requests, and manage Division inventories.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for procurement, contract management, and asset management.
  • Prepare correspondence, memorandums, and reports, and assist with the implementation of recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a closely related field.
  • Two years of administrative experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with financial and accounting software, human resources software, and procurement systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Project management certification.
  • Administrative professional certification.
