We are a well-established local CPA firm with nearly 50 years of experience, employing around 50 professionals in the Greater Tampa, FL area.

Our firm is looking for a skilled and motivated Client Accounting Advisory Leader (Hybrid) to enhance our growing team.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work in a flexible environment, combining remote and in-office responsibilities.

As an integral part of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and advising on client accounting issues.

Your contributions will have a direct impact on the financial stability and success of our clients, making this position both demanding and fulfilling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide guidance on all aspects of client accounting, including month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial documentation and generate meaningful financial reports.
  • Guarantee adherence to GAAP Accounting standards in all client accounting activities.
  • Deliver strategic financial advisory services to clients, assisting them in enhancing their financial performance and achieving their business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for their accounting needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting processes and enhance client services.
  • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in client accounting and advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with month-end and year-end closing, as well as proficiency in Sage and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting principles.
  • Exceptional client service skills with the ability to foster and maintain strong relationships.
  • Robust analytical skills with the capability to interpret financial data and provide sound financial recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office tasks.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts concurrently, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and offer innovative solutions.
