Client Accounting Advisory Lead (Hybrid) / Competitive Salary / Regional CPA Firm

Our firm is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Client Accounting Advisory Lead (Hybrid) to enhance our expanding team. This role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

As a vital member of our finance department, you will be instrumental in managing and advising on various client accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide guidance on all facets of client accounting, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks to ensure precise financial records and generate insightful financial reports.
  • Guarantee adherence to GAAP Accounting standards in all client accounting practices.
  • Deliver strategic financial advisory services to clients, assisting them in enhancing their financial performance and achieving their business goals.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for accounting matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine accounting processes and elevate client services.
  • Stay informed about updates in financial regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in client accounting and advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with month-end and year-end closing, as well as proficiency in Sage and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting principles.
  • Exceptional client service skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and provide sound financial recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset to offer innovative solutions.
