We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a focus on Client Bookkeeping to enhance our finance team in a hybrid capacity, providing flexibility to work remotely with occasional office interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily bookkeeping functions and maintain financial documentation
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage and Quickbooks for financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with established accounting standards
  • Accurately process payroll and sales tax submissions
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
  • Generate financial statements and provide strategic recommendations
  • Assist in formulating accounting policies and procedures
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Proficient in Sage, Quickbooks, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processing
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • CPA certification is advantageous
