Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking a seasoned and visionary Senior Program Management Leader to join our Relay Operations Center (ROC) team. This role is pivotal in steering a high-performing team dedicated to achieving excellence in customer service within the Program Management Office (PMO) and Quality & Learning sectors. As the Senior Program Management Leader, you will take charge of a diverse portfolio of cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing costs. This position allows you to function as an internal consultant, crafting a long-term vision and executing strategies supported by data-driven insights and effective tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage complex transportation projects, ensuring seamless execution across various organizational units.
  • Collaborate with leaders across ATS to promote a culture of continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
  • Lead a team of Program Managers responsible for strategic operations within our network.
  • Engage with program managers, business leaders, and executive teams to propel critical business initiatives forward.
  • Design, implement, and manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting for a range of programs, ensuring transparency in milestones and performance metrics.
  • Enhance the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of project delivery by championing best practices within the organization.
  • Drive performance improvements across the network by developing and executing systems, metrics, and programs that foster compliance and continuous enhancement.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses on defects and leverage findings to initiate ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Engage with global Amazon business units to exchange best practices and enhance overall outcomes for our customers.

About the Team:

The ROC Ops & Tech Team is committed to advancing technology and processes that boost efficiency and elevate operational standards within the Relay Operations Center. We serve as a vital link between Technology/Science teams and ROC Operations & Support teams, ensuring that feature development aligns with customer requirements and operational priorities on a global scale. Our focus extends beyond technology development; we are dedicated to enhancing both internal and external customer experiences through the creation of top-tier Quality, Learning, Programmatic, and Analytical solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in team leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience in roadmap strategy and definition.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • Demonstrated success in leading mid to large-scale projects from inception through testing and full implementation across diverse stakeholder teams in various regions.
