Position Overview

The ideal candidate will serve as an embedded leader, adept at establishing a consistent operational rhythm, maintaining global situational awareness, and delivering exceptional customer service and support under all circumstances. This position demands strong leadership capabilities in high-pressure situations, unwavering integrity, a comprehensive understanding of the global landscape, outstanding critical thinking skills, a protective mindset, and a proactive approach to action and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of analysts within a Global Operations Center by setting a strong example.
  • Provide top-tier service and support to our internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate identification, tracking, and reporting of risk event information.
  • Oversee and coordinate staffing for our 24/7 operations.
  • Implement the travel risk management program, including monitoring, alerting, briefing, and support.
  • Manage global incident and emergency response efforts.
  • Oversee centralized management of access control, video surveillance, environmental sensors, and associated alarms across the organization.
  • Facilitate relevant training, drills, and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Incident Responders during emergencies to provide oversight and centralized support.
  • Prepare and deliver regular and ad hoc briefings.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a Global Security Operation Center, including familiarity with the Everbridge Suite, Anvil, and Genetec.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience in recruitment and conducting interviews.
  • Proficient in creating and managing weekly schedules, with skills in operating scheduling and expense management systems.
  • Experience in managing access control, video surveillance, communication systems, mass notification, and risk monitoring systems.
  • Strong drive for action with a proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious performance goals.
  • Ability to mentor teams through high-pressure situations and maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Resilience and adaptability in dynamic and high-stress environments.
  • Excellent critical thinking abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to anticipate second and third-order effects of decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, tailored to the appropriate audience.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs arise.

Work Environment

This role requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions, including but not limited to:
  • Undergoing background checks, reference checks, and drug tests as necessary.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Regular use of computers and office equipment.
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Occasional physical activities such as reaching, lifting, and operating office equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, odd hours, and weekends with minimal notice.
  • Frequent sitting and/or standing as required.
