About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Cook IV Ke'olu to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. As a Pastry Cook IV Ke'olu, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting exceptional pastry items, including desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats. Your attention to detail, creativity, and passion for baking will be essential in delivering an unforgettable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present high-quality pastry items, including desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other appliances.
- Assist in the preparation of mise en place and set up stations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, ensuring that they are ready for service.
- Date and rotate food containers, ensuring that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Control food waste, loss, and usage, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of culinary or related work experience.
- Advanced culinary knowledge and skills, including baking and pastry arts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
