Job Overview

The Fish Hopper Seafood and Steaks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all food and pastry production, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen supplies to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Negative TB test result.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
