We are pleased to announce an opening for a Fault Management Systems Engineer as part of our distinguished JETS II contract team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thorough comprehension of complex systems and their potential failure modes
  • Implementation of model-based systems engineering methodologies to create system models
  • Expertise in utilizing fault management design and analysis tools, including FMEAs, FMECAs, and fault trees, along with some software proficiency
  • Execution of additional assigned tasks

Qualifications:

This position is available at various levels depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and business needs. We maintain the flexibility to assess candidates for any appropriate level aligned with the job posting.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required, with knowledge of SysML, UML, or similar system modeling techniques
  • Practical experience in modeling intricate cyber-physical systems, along with expertise in areas such as risk assessments, fault/failure analysis, redundancy, fault tolerance, system health management, and fault management frameworks
  • Strong foundation in dynamics and proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and coordination skills, combined with a customer-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Avionics and Software Architecture
  • Familiarity with NASA software and systems development standards, with skills in C/C++ programming, Linux, and scripting languages like Python
